Qualification: Completed their B.Tech / MCA / B.Sc.(Comp. Sc. or IT) / M.Sc.(Comp. Sc. or IT)
Selection process: Written test with short questions covering aptitude test, concepts of programming structure (basic C) & databases (ANSI SQL) to be followed by technical round & interview

Testers (Web Applications)
Openings: 2 Nos.
Qualification: Completed their B.Tech / MCA / B.Sc.(Comp. Sc. or IT) / M.Sc.(Comp. Sc. or IT)
Preference: Hands on experience or training in testing.
Selection process: Written test with short questions covering aptitude test, concepts of programming structure (basic C) to be followed by interview

Web Developers
Openings: 2 Nos.
Qualification: Completed their B.Tech / MCA / B.Sc.(Comp. Sc. or IT) / M.Sc.(Comp. Sc. or IT) or equivalent
Preference: Experience or exposure to HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery
Selection process: Written test with short questions covering aptitude, HTML, CSS & Javascript followed by interview

What is this Joint Recruitment Process (JRP) all about ?

When Afixi started its Bhubaneswar operation about 4 years back, there was basic logistics missing for corporates to hire easily, without having to do a lot of groundwork.

It was difficult to reach out to the students, colleges lacked a student database, and colleges focused on getting the "current students" employed. However, most small and medium sized companies actually do not hire in advance ... they hire people who can join "immediately".

It was a chance thought ... "if there are Joint Entrance Examinations for B.Tech, Medicine, MBA, MCA etc., then why not a Joint Recruitment Process (JRP) for hiring the candidates". The goal is "a common hiring process by trustworthy companies to meet their combined requirements".

Afixi Technologies Pvt. Ltd. 

Afixi, a technology services company registered under the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), is focused on "Web Application Development" & "iPhone Applications".

Afixi has clients primarily in the US, Europe, Australia and a few other countries. Solutions range from "content management systems", "social networking applications" to complex "transaction processing" & "ecommerce solutions".

Afixi has created a niche for itself in the areas where high security, high performance systems need to be built, usually requiring integration with external applications and services.

After staying away from the domestic market for years, it has recently started working on projects for some of the prestigious clients like KingFisher Airlines, Jet Airways, ICICI Bank, Baxter (one of the leading pharmaceutical companies worldwide), Aventis-Sanofi, Lantus, Tata Motors and others. Afixi has also provided solutions to companies like the Future Group (Big Bazaar & Pantaloon group), Asian Paints, Old Spice etc.

At its Bhubaneswar office, Afixi has an existing team of programmers, designers and testers and has been operational for the last 4+ years. Currently operating out of rented premises near Infocity, Afixi is constructing its own office building of about 20,000 square feet across 5 floors on the land allotted at the IDCO IT Park near Infocity, Patia.

In the recent past during market recessions, most companies were scaling down their operations due to lack of orders and as a desperate attempt to cut down on costs. Even in those trying times, Afixi was busy with more and more work (thanks to the strong client satisfaction and rock solid references from existing clients) and recognised this as an opportunity for scaling up.

We have added a team of 15 programmers only 5 months back. Afixi now proposes to add to its team through campus drives conducted in the last one month as well as hiring through the joint recruitment process.
